Ferrari Challenge World Final

Last weekend, the Mugello circuit became the world capital of Scuderia. As part of the big racing festival of the brand, the decisive races of the popular monoseries were also held here.

As part of the weekend, the finals of the European and North American Ferrari Challenge series were held, after which their participants, as well as the best drivers of the Japanese championship of the same name, went to the start of the World Finals.

The denouement of the fight for the title in the top standings of the Pirelli Trophy among the "Europeans" turned out to be as dramatic as possible. In the pouring rain, ex-F1 driver Adrian Sutil, on the last lap, was able to beat Thomas Fleming in a dispute for victory. Due to the lost points, the Briton also remained second in the overall standings, losing the title to Italian Elysio Donno.

On the final day, Fleming (pictured) was able to take revenge in the World Final, beating Donno and Sutil.

Once again, the 62-year-old Franz Engstler had no equal in Pirelli AM. The German took the title in the European series at the last stage in Spa, and in Mugello took the upper hand in the main race, where he beat Canadian Mark Muzzo and Nobuhiro Imada from Japan.
