Sealtron SA: Benefits of networking at the NAACAM Show
By Shivani Singh | April, 16, 2018 | Testimonials
Sealtron SA, manufacturer of cable harnesses, participated in the inaugural NAACAM Show in 2017. The company received support for their exhibition stand from Trade and Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN). Sealtron SA Senior Accounts Manager, Vikesh Mungroo was grateful for this opportunity. He explained that the Show provided a key opportunity to network with Hesto Harnesses, a member of the Durban Automotive Cluster (DAC). Since exhibiting at the Show, Sealtron SA has gone on to participate in Hesto Harnesses’ supplier development programme. Hesto Harnesses, has not only visited Sealtron SA’s factory and provided guidance and support for the company’s expansion, but has also supplied client leads and facilitated networking opportunities for Sealtron SA. Mungroo said that Sealtron SA has successfully delivered one order to Hesto Harnesses and looks forward to developing sustainable relationship with the firm.
After the Show, Sealtron SA was also able to secure an opportunity to develop eight test harnesses for fellow NAACAM Show 2017 exhibitor, TR-Tec, the manufacturers of Backdraft Racers. “I can categorically tell you that we would not have been able to access these opportunities without the NAACAM Show”, said Mungroo. He added that “the opportunity that NAACAM created was incredible – we met the right companies and were able to network with the right people. We will definitely be there in 2019”.
